The Town of LaSalle is set to present the 10-year Strategic Master Plan for the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex to the public.
The process began in the fall of 2018 when the town hired FJ Galloway Associates Inc. to develop the plan. The consultant team hosted a public open house, user group meetings and one-on-one interviews with LaSalle organizations.
“The Town is looking forward to presenting Council with a Master Plan that identifies a strategy to support the growth and needs of the user groups, patrons and residents who interact with the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Centre,” said Julie Columbus, Director of the Culture and Recreation Department.
A comprehensive Strategic Master Plan will allow the Town’s Culture and Recreation and Public Works departments to strategically guide and manage the direction of recreation services, leisure programming, events, cultural opportunities and development of current and possible future facilities and amenities over the next 10 years.
The community is invited to see the draft plan on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 6pm to 9pm at the Vollmer Complex in the Multi-Purpose Room.
