One of the many business to close because of the Windsor Essex Parkway construction was the Applebees location at Windsor Crossing. After being closed for a few months, construction has begun on their new location.
Located down the road on the corner of Huron Line and Northwood/Industrial Drive, the new Applebees will open in what was formerly Hallmark Technologies building. The former tool and die building has been converted into an office and commercial plaza, and Applebees will be on the South End of the property.
This corner has seen several displaced businesses locate here. Daytona Carwash, Fred’s Farm Fresh, as well as Gino’s Pizza and Havana Plaza have all relocated here, turning this once weed over grown corner into a bustling retail commercial area
