Drink…and Draw, Windsor

Drink and Draw is a new social gathering for artists and art-enthusiasts alike that takes place once a week in Windsor with a simple goal, enjoy a drink while creating art with like-minded individuals.

SO far the group has had two sessions with another one planned for this Friday night at Phog Lounge.   Organizers say that there were about 25 people who showed up throughout the night at the first event, and about 13 new faces this past Friday.

Right now, Drink and Draw events are taking place at random venues every Friday night but their overall goal is to find a place that they can call their “club headquarters” .

So far, both Drink and Draw sessions at Villains Beastro and organizer Amanda Shallal said that “everyone really loved it, but we would like to explore other options, and we are always open to take our club to any pubs that would like to host us!”

Each week, club members are encouraged to check out the Drink and Draw blog, or on Facebook, to see where the location will be and then bring sketchbooks and drawing supplies and get creative.
