OPP Investigating Shoplifting
The Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking for the public’s assistance in a shoplifting occurrence in the Town of Essex.
Police say around 4:50pm on April 5th, 2025 an individual entered a business on Maidstone Avenue and proceeded to steal over $750.00 in clothing.
The person was described as a thin white male, approximately 6 feet tall with some facial hair wearing a plaid coat, dark pants and a dark ball cap.
The OPP is asking anyone with relevant information to contact the Essex County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
