Essex County Highway Construction This Week

Here is a look at highway construction in the County of Essex. Lots of new projects get underway this week.

County Road 8:
At the Canard River (Bow String Bridge) will be closed for bridge rehabilitation until September 2nd.

County Road 42:
From County Road 19 to Lesperance road will have lane restrictions for watermain construction from July 4th to July 29th, 2016.

County Road 27:
Will be closed (bridge out) for bridge rehabilitation from County Road 8 northerly to South Middle Road from July 4th to July 29th, 2016.

County Road 21:
From County Road 42 to Little Baseline will have lane restrictions for watermain construction until July 15th, 2016.

County Road 29:
From County Road 18 to Highway 3 will have lane restrictions until July 15th, 2016.

County Road 20:
From County Road 31 westerly to Whitewood Road will have lane restrictions from until July 30th, 2015.

County Road 5:
From Texas Road to County Road 10 will have lane restrictions from July 11th to July 29th, 2016.

County Road 42:
From Patillo Road to County Road 21 will have lane restrictions for watermain work from July 11th to July 29th, 2016.

Road Painting Operations:
Line painting on County Roads will occur throughout the warmer months. The operations are clearly identified with truck mounted signs. To avoid driving in the “wet paint” do not attempt to pass these slow moving trucks.
