Firefighters have extinguished a series of brush fires along the Essex Terminal Railway tracks and Crawford Avenue in West Windsor.
Police had closed Crawford while the fires were being battled.
Sparks from a passing train caused the blaze. The train engine was stopped and was towed back to the train yard.
