The 10th Annual Mayor’s Walk followed by the City’s 124th Birthday Celebration takes place this holiday Monday.
The morning kicks off with a Rainbow Ride Preparation at 10am in Assumption Park. This includes free activities and decorations to rainbow-ify your set of wheels (bikes, roller blades, skateboards, wheelchairs, scooters) in rainbow colours. A $100 cash prized, donated by Get Real UWindsor will go the most “rainbowtastic” rider.
The walk starts at Assumption Park at 10:30am and heads to the Riverfront Festival Plaza.
Following the walk, everyone is encouraged to stay and enjoy a variety of activities including the Monster Mural Colour Paint Station and sidewalk chalk, inflatables including castles and slides, you can meet Adventure Bay’s mascot and take part in sport activity stations.
In addition, there will free all beef hotdogs and birthday cupcakes.
