Woo is a special needs bunny that came to us from the Toronto area. She was a stray bunny found just before Christmas last year. At first glance it was obvious she needed veterinary care.
She was wobbling around and had a few wounds on her ears. She was stained with urine as well. Shortly after her rescue she delivered a litter of stillborn kits. This poor sweet girl had not had a good life so far.
She made her way to us and we have treated her for all of the usual illnesses associated with her imbalance issues. We are now left to assume that she suffered some sort of head trauma to cause her instability. She has also been spayed and is now hopeful for a second chance for a forever home.
She will need someone who can help her move about safely, slippery floors will be a problem for her but she can move around on carpet. She does still have a slight head tilt which causes some balance issues, but that does not stop this bunny! She loves to hop around and is a total love bug! She does need to take medication daily to help her with her dizziness. We have her on meclizine but she takes it easily with a piece of banana!
We are looking for someone with rabbit experience due to her specific needs. If you can offer Woo a loving forever home please contact us to meet her.
Like every rescue animal that comes into Tiny Paws they will always receive the best love and medical care they need until they find their forever home.
