More Rental Scams Reported In LaSalle

LaSalle Police report that they are investigating three fraudulent attempts to rent houses out not owned by the person posing as the landlord.
Police stress to be very leery of anything being arranged solely by phone or on the internet, especially if they are demanding an e-transfer of funds.
They say always take the time to meet with the landlord and review any lease or rental agreements before you make any payments.
