Police Appeal For Witnesses After Person Found Injured

Windsor Police are looking for witnesses to come forward after a person was found injured.

Police say it was around 12:30pm on Tuesday March 22nd, 2016 that they were called to the area of Wellington and Wyandotte Street West to assist ambulance with a female found unconscious.

Officers arrived and found several people around the female who sustained a head injury. It is unknown how this female sustained her injuries and she remains in hospital in serious condition.

A witness observed a female in a green smart car dressed in black stopped to attend to the injured person initially, but this person left the scene prior to police arriving. Police would like to speak to the female in the smart car and anyone else with information that hasn’t already spoken to police.
