Chris Holt has been elected as the new city council member for Ward 4.
With 103 of 103 polls reporting, Holt won by 1,812 votes and 28.6 per cent of the vote.
The former urban revitalization and renewal blogger’s first priority is getting to know his way around city hall.
“It’s going to be a new council. We just got a new mayor and I want to acquaint myself with everybody,” he said.
Holt said he wants to learn what its going to take working with colleagues and benefit the city.
“We need better neighbourhoods and a better quality of life that a lot of us have been doubting this campaign.”
Holt gave a shout of to all of of his Ward 4 competitors. He said it was an amazing group of candidates and they deserved it.
