The North Talbot Road Bridge has reopened after eight and half months.
The bridge was originally demolished in 2011 and rebuilt in 2012 to accommodate the new HG Parkway.
On August 28th of last year, based on findings from the HG Parkway’s girder review process, the bridge was immediately closed.
The bridge remained closed during the rest of the review and work began shortly thereafter to replace the structure’s girders.
With new girders, fresh asphalt and new lines, the bridge reopened to traffic Saturday afternoon.
