Two Cases At St. John The Evangelist; Two Classes, One Bus Cohort Dismissed

The Catholic School Board has dismissed two classes of students and one bus cohort from St. John the Evangelist Catholic Elementary School in Woodslee after receiving notification of two confirmed cases of COVID-19 there.

The school has notified the affected students that they are not to attend school Wednesday. The health unit will notify those students when they are able to return to school.

A voice message to the entire school community was sent home this evening to inform them about the situation, and to notify the parents of those students who were dismissed that they should not send their children back to school until they have received further direction from the health unit.
