Three COVID-19 Cases At St. Gabriel; Two Classes, One Bus Cohort Dismissed

The Catholic School Board has dismissed two classes of students and a bus cohort from St. Gabriel Catholic Elementary School after receiving notification of three confirmed cases of COVID-19 there.

The board says they learned of the confirmed case Saturday afternoon and have notified the affected students that they are not to attend school Monday.

A voice message to the entire school community was sent home Saturday evening to inform them about the situation, and to notify the parents of those students who were dismissed that they should not send their children back to school until they have received further direction from the health unit.
