Storm damage possibly caused by a tornado will be investigated by a team of researchers from the University of Western Ontario.
The Northern Tornadoes Project announced they will be looking into damage in Windsor, Maidstone and Leamington from Saturday’s storms.
“Given the reports of damage, sighting of possible tornado, and radar-based evidence, NTP is sending a team to Essex County tomorrow to investigate events from the storms of July 24th,” the organization said in a tweet.
The organization’s aim is to detect and document all tornados in Canada.
