Police In Amherstburg Investigating Stolen Vehicles

Windsor Police Amherstburg Detachment officers are actively investigating two motor vehicle thefts that occurred in the same area.

On February 3rd, 2021, patrol officers responded to the 4300 & 4400 block of Concession Road 4 North for two separate reports of stolen vehicles. Both vehicles are believed to have been taken between Tuesday, February 2nd at 6:00 pm and Wednesday, February 3rd at 7:30 am.

A blue Dodge Ram was recovered in the 200 block of Bridge Avenue, Windsor, at approximately 9:15 am on February 3rd, shortly after being reported stolen.

A white Chevrolet Silverado remains outstanding.

Investigators believe both thefts are related. A theft from a vehicle was also reported in the area and also believed to be related.

Anyone in the area of the thefts or the area of the recovered stolen vehicle on Bridge Avenue is requested to check video cameras for possible surveillance footage and evidence. Anyone living in the area where the thefts occurred and believes their vehicles may have been entered are encouraged to contact the police.

Police remind the public that you should never leave your keys in the vehicle.
