WRH Adjusts COVID-19 Assessment Centre Hours Of Operation Due To Lower Evening Volume

Windsor Regional Hospital is reducing the weekday hours of operation for the COVID-19 Assessment Centre due to lower evening volumes.
Effective Thursday, June 4th, the COVID-19 Assessment Centre will now be open 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday (instead of 9am to 9pm). Hours on Saturday and Sunday will remain unchanged at 9am to 4pm.
Hours at the Assessment Centre were extended after hitting record-breaking volumes a week ago, reaching a peak of 319 visitors on May 27th.
They have since seen a significant drop-off in volumes in late afternoon. They say that of the 128 visitors seen on June 2nd, only five of thesei ndividuals came to the centre after 7pm.
