Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens has extended the temporary closure of both Devonshire and Tecumseh Malls for an additional two weeks.

The Mayor first ordered the closures of the shopping centres after declaring a state of emergency on March 20th. The temporary closure was set to expire on Sunday April 5th.

Mayor Dilkens extended the temporary closure for an additional two weeks until 11:59pm on Sunday, April 19th.

“All reports from public health officials indicate that COVID-19 cases are on the rise and continue to impact our community,” said Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens. “We need to take the advice seriously: stay home, don’t go out unless you absolutely need to and practice social distancing at all times.”
