The Town of Kingsville is adjusting operations in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 and keep staff and residents safe.
In response to the latest recommendations made by the Windsor Essex County Health Unit to move to essential services, the Town has decided to close all of its municipal offices to the general public, effective end of day March 17th, 2020, until further notice. This includes Town Hall, the Arena, Fire Halls and the Carnegie Arts & Visitor Centre.
Although the buildings will be closed, municipal staff will continue responding to public requests through email, regular mail and phone. Any business that must be conducted in-person will be by appointment only.
Residents submitting physical documents can use the night deposit box at Town Hall, or mail the package to 2021 Division Road North.
Administration is reviewing capacity in council chambers based on social distancing recommendations and expects space to be extremely limited. Residents interested in observing Town Council meetings are encouraged to access the live stream instead of attending.
