No injuries are reported after police stopped a vehicle traveling the wrong way on Highway 401.
On Monday February 10th, 2020 at approximately 10:00am, police responded to a report of a motor vehicle travelling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 in Tecumseh.
Several officers converged on the area, shutting down on ramps as the vehicle was located and brought to a safe stop west of Manning Road.
The elderly driver who inadvertently entered onto the highway in the wrong direction was taken to the Essex County OPP detachment where he was met by family members.
There were no injuries nor collisions in relation to this incident.
