The 2019 Veterans Voice of Canada Flags of Remembrance ceremony took place in Windsor Saturday afternoon.

The event, which takes place across Canada, celebrated in Windsor for their third year. 128 flags are displayed across the riverfront at Assumption Park, representing the 128,000 Canadians killed and missing in action at war. Each flag has a Hero Plaque honouring veterans and currently serving military.

The flags will be erected until November 12th.
