Peche Island Tours Delayed Due To Flooding

Tours to Peche Island will be delayed due to high water levels, which are causing flooded trails on the island.
The first season of tours began at the end of June last year, but Parks staff say the flood levels will not allow for a June kickoff this year.
For those with their own transportation, the boat dock, washrooms and pavilion are open, but for safety reasons, all trails are closed.
Work is currently underway, and once conditions improve and tours can resume.
