Two months after it began, the strike at the Windsor-Essex Health Unit is over.
The 86 health nurses ratified a three-year deal Wednesday.
The Health Unit says that nurses will return to work on Friday, May 10,th pending ratification by our Board of Health.
“We are delighted to announce that we have reached a tentative collective agreement with our public health nurses. This is a deal that was recommended by ONA and that both sides worked tremendously hard to achieve,” said Theresa Marentette, CEO and Chief Nursing Officer.
