The last week of summer vacation is going to be hot.
A hot and humid airmass from the American Mid-West is forecast to reach the area Sunday and remain in place through Tuesday night.
Maximum afternoon temperatures are expected to reach 31°C or 88°F with humidex values rising to 40°C or 104°F.
Overnight low temperatures will only fall to the low 20’s°C providing little relief from the heat.
