Students at Kingsville Public School will be getting an early Christmas present from members of Eat, Drink, Dine, Kingsville.
Through a partnership the students sold gift cards for local Eat, Drink, Dine, Kingsville businesses.
The students managed to sell over 1,500 gift cards for a grand total of total of $7,300. That money will go directly back to the school to purchase laptop computers, technology items like robotics and computer coding software, as well as art supplies.
“We knew the fundraiser would be successful after doing something similar previously, but we had no idea it would reach this level of success,” said Heather Brown, co-owner of The Main Grill and Ale House. “It means a lot to our group to be able to give back so much money to the school community at such a critical time of year.”
