A heat warning has been issued for Windsor and Essex County.
Environment Canada says a heat episode is expected on Thursday and Friday for most regions in Southern Ontario.
Daytime temperatures will reach low thirties with afternoon humidex values in the mid to upper thirties. Overnight lows will be near 20 degrees.
The heat episode will come to an end Friday night with the passage of a cold front.
