Electrical failure in service panel gets the blame for a fire on Bruce Avenue Thursday evening.
Crews were called to the 1300 block around 8:30pm and found smoke coming from the rear of the building.
Firefighters discovered the blaze in the house’s basement. It was promptly extinguished.
Damage is set at $75,000. Two people and a dog were displaced.
