Essex-Windsor EMS is looking to replace the aging EMS station on Dougall Avenue.
In 2014, the County of Essex commenced the process of purchasing the EMS Station and land located at 2620 Dougall Avenue from the Province of Ontario.
The new station will be built on the same property and will have three ambulance bays as well as larger staff facilities.
Preliminary planning began in the fall of 2015 and construction is expected to be completed in the late fall of 2016.
