Two of the streets under the Ambassador Bridge previously closed due to falling debris are now open.

Both Wyandotte Street and Peter Street were reopened just before noon Tuesday.

City officials say that they expect Donnelly Street to re-open Wednesday or Thursday, while the northbound curb lane of Huron Church Road will likely remain closed through this week.

A new closure will begin Tuesday or Wednesday.  University Avenue will be closed just west of Huron Church Road so bridge officials can have more work done there.  There’s no estimate yet on how long University will be closed.

Bridge officials are installing planking to prevent further debris from falling on the roads and sidewalks below.
