Local Home Sales Up Again

Residential house sales were up for the month of August according to the Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors.
In August 2015, 591 homes were sold, compared with 519 last August.
For the first eight months of this year 4,272 homes have changed hands compare to 3,653 in 2014. That is an increase of 16.94%.
In Windsor, it was in south Windsor where most homes changed hands with 90 sold, followed by central/downtown Windsor with 81, and east Windsor wraps up the top three with 74 houses sold.
In the county, Lakeshore was the most popular area with 68 houses sold, Amherstburg had 54 and LaSalle and Kingsville ties at 50 each.
