The 2015 Annual Terry Fox Giant Used Book Sale takes place this weekend.
Now in its 7th year it has hundreds of books in all genres up for grabs. From fiction, romance, mystery, self-help, cooking, sports, history, science, kids, teens, literature, and more will all be for sale at this year’s donated space at St Clair Beach Shopping Centre at Tecumseh Road East and Manning Road in the former Box Office Video Store.
The sale runs this Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 4pm and again next Saturday, September 19th from 9am to 4pm.
Fred Fox, Terry’s brother, will attend the Terry Fox Giant Used Book Sale on Sunday, September 12, as he visits to promote the local Run
Costs are $2 for hard cover, $1 for large soft cover, and $0.50 for paperbacks and kids’ books.
All proceeds go to the Terry Fox Foundation for Cancer Research Last year’s book sale saw 35,543 books donated and generated over $16,000 for cancer research.
