The Tall Ship U.S. Brig Niagara will be paying a visit to Kingsville this weekend.
The U.S. Brig Niagara is the reconstructed relief flagship of Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry in the Battle of Lake Erie during the War of 1812. Niagara is the official flagship of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and is operated as a US Coast Guard certified Sailing School Vessel. It will be docked at the Kingsville dock.
The three-day schedule is a follows:
Friday, August 28th:
Final movie in the Park: Big Hero 6 at 8pm. At this free event there will be draws and giveaways for Tall Ship Tours, and lots more.
Saturday, August 29th:
Tall Ship tours take place at the Kingsville Dock from 10am to 6pm with a special Captains reception from 7pm to 9pm.
Sunday, August 30th:
Tall Ship Tours take place at the Kingsville Dock from 10am to 6pm.
In addition to the ship tours there will be lots of additional entertainment, special photo spots, children’s activities and more on both Saturday and Sunday.
Tour Ticket Prices:
Adults – $5
Children 12 and under – $3
Children 2 and under – Free
Captain’s wine and cheese – $35
