Windsor firefighters have extinguished another vacant house fire.
Crews were called to the area of Hall and Hanna around 6:50pm Tuesday evening and found smoke coming from a small, wide house at the rear of a large residential lot.
Firefighters battled flames inside but brought the blaze under control just before 8pm.
No one was injured in the fire and neighbours said the house had not been occupied for some time.
Investigators said Tuesday that the fire was intentionally set. It caused $80,000 in damage.
This is the third vacant house fire in Windsor in a week.
Last Tuesday, firefighters put out a blaze on Indian Road, then a partially vacant duplex was set on fire on Assumption Street, early Monday morning.
Also, two garages were set ablaze last Friday.
Police say the Arson Unit is attempting to establish links to the fires and several of the fires involved the lighting of discarded mattresses, furniture and garbage in alleyways.
