After what they are calling a very successful job fair held last fall by HGS, today they announced that they have selected Windsor as their next location for a new contact centre.
HGS says that they plan to move very quickly to determine their location and are taking steps towards recruitment of a minimum of 400 people.
“Our market assessment of the City of Windsor last fall was a qualified success on all levels with us receiving over 1600 highly skilled applications. We quickly realized that the residents of Windsor will be loyal and high performing ambassadors for us as their employer. The partnerships forged with city leaders in the Mayor’s office and the office of Economic Development further cemented our decision to choose Windsor as the 11th location for HGS Canada. We are excited to begin reconnecting with applicants in the very near future as we ramp what is sure to be HGS Canada’s next premier location.” said Kathy Follett-Lloyd, VP, Human Resources, HGS Canada.
“HGS will be a welcomed addition to the City of Windsor. We have been working closely with HGS and I am pleased to welcome their respected customer service centre brand to the city,” said Mayor Eddie Francis.
