Section Of Matchette Road Closed This Weekend

A portion of Matchette Road between Chappus Street and Carmichael Road will be closed from Friday at approximately 10pm until Monday at approximately 5am.

The temporary closure is necessary to erect girders on Bridge 2 (Matchette Road) as part of the Parkway.

During the closure, no official detour route will be in effect.

As a result, of the closure the following Transit Windsor detour will be in effect for the South Windsor 7:

South Windsor 7 Eastbound:

From College Avenue Community Center
Regular route on College Avenue to
Right on Prince Road
Left on Sandwich Street
Continue on Sandwich Street towards E.C. Row
Right on Ojibway Parkway
Left on Weaver to
Regular route

Westbound

From Windsor Raceway and Slots
Regular route to Matchette
Left on Broadway
Right on Ojibway Parkway continuing
Left on Ojibway Parkway to Sandwich
Right on Prince Road
Left on College Avenue to
Regular route.
