The City of Windsor continues to push forward with removing abandoned buildings, otherwise known as ‘blight’, from city streets.
The latest building on their list is 2720 Richmond in Ford City.
Since 2004, the city says they have been to the building 30 times for a variety of building-related and yard-related complaints.
The building was declared “derelict” after the area ward inspector undertook a building condition assessment in October 2013.
The city intends to demolish the building and add the cost to the property owner’s taxes.
