The Fahrenheit Festival Canada’s only Fire Sculpting festival. Skilled fire artists are able to use clever “tricks of the trade” to control and shape the fire, to choke oxygen in order to control tempo and pace, and to manipulate the burn pattern so that the fire sculpture doesn’t resemble, or burn, like a bonfire. This year twelve sculptures will be lit ablaze.
Admission is by cash only. $5 for adults and children 12 years and under are $2. You are encouraged to being lawn chairs, blankets and bug spray. Organizers say that no pets, coolers, glass bottles or alcohol allowed on Festival site.
Concession food and beverages will be available for purchase at the event and parking is limited on site.
Gates open at 6pm with music and kids activities talking place until 7:45pm when the pre burn entertainment kicks off.
The big burn gets underway at 8:30pm and will last about an hour.
