Windsor Police K9 Unit Champions At Field Trials

Over the weekend of July 19th to 21st, the Windsor Police K9 Unit attended and participated in the 2013 United States Police K9 Association Field Trials held in Waterloo-Cambridge, Ontario.

Windsor’s K9 teams dominated the trials and represented the Windsor Police Service as Champions.

The trials are primarily made up of four major disciplines held over consecutive days. They are also independent Certifications of the team standards.
The events include obedience, agility, article & box search, and criminal apprehension.

The team won first place in each discipline and convincingly won top dog in the trials.
