Local Food Bank Needs Donations Or May Have To Close

The Welcome Centre Shelter for Women is in need of food to fill their food bank.
They say that if they aren’t able to stock their shelves that they will have to temporarily close down, and that being only a few short weeks away from school starting, a closure is the last thing that they want to do.
They are looking for donations of any and all non-perishable food items such as:
- Pasta
- Pasta Sauce
- Kraft Dinner
- Canned Pasta
- Canned/Frozen Meat
- Canned Fruits and Vegetables
- Canned Beans
- Cereal
- Lunch Pail Snack Items
Donations can be dropped off at any time at the Shelter located at 263 Bridge Avenue.
