The third annual Explore the Shore takes place this Weekend along historic County Road 50 – Canada’s Southernmost drive.
Twenty-nine businesses, recreational facilities and community groups are participating this weekend.
You will be able to learn more about County Road 50 in the 1812 era by exploring the 1812 Scavenger Hunt. Stop off at one of the many beaches and conservation areas, and don’t forget the free Clubhouse Kidz Zone at the Colchester Beach and Harbour with games, crafts, treasure hunt, and sandcastle building contest.
As well, Explore the Shore is a fundraiser for a local food bank. All businesses collect change or cans. Last year they collected over 200 pounds of food! Their goal for this year is over 500 pounds.
