As part of Windsor City Council’s enhanced capital budget passed early this year, $4.4 million was set aside for the repaving of Tecumseh Road East from Drouillard to Rivard and Wyandotte Street from Lincoln to Bruce.
City administration plans to phase this work over the next two years and are seeking council approval to tender the paving of Wyandotte from Langlois to Gladstone this year, with the remaining work to take place in 2014.
Some work on Wyandotte will also be coordinated with the Windsor Utilities Commission which has plans to replace the watermain in the area of Lincoln to Argyle as it is 90 years old.
Work on Tecumseh this year will be the stretch of road between Rivard and Westminsiter.
