The Town of Tecumseh recently awarded phase one of improvements to Manning Road to Facca Incorporated.

The first phase of the multi phased project that will improve this major stretch of road in the town includes a new pump house and outlet to Lake St. Clair north of the Manning Road/Riverside Drive intersection and a new fisheries habitat and pier along the west side of the new Lakewood Park top be completed by the end of June.

Also planned is a new concrete roundabout at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Manning and the reconstruction of Riverside from Manning to Christie Lane including new medians, decorative streetlights, trees and multi use paths.

Road work is expected to begin in June and wrap up in November with road surface paving to take place in 2014.
