Saturday October 13th is Worldwide Photo Walk Day and Windsor is taking part.
The Worldwide Photo Walk is a social photography event where photographers get together to walk around, shoot photos, and generally have fun with other photographers, later meeting at a pub or cafe to debrief.
Windsor’s walk takes place in the Jackson Park area, and organizers say that the walk:
…will take us through the Queen Elizabeth Gardens, along it’s trails and fountains, to whatever perennial flowers the entire park has to offer. Along the rest of the park area, we have the CN tracks, Playground Area, Spitfire WW II planes, and some interesting lines and structures near the tennis club and lawn bowling pitch. Next door, the architecture of Kennedy Collegiate will offer up some great archways, cement pergolas and spires, and depending on access, we may see some of the Windsor Stadium football pitch and the old stage entertainment area.
Interested photographers are asked to register on the Photo Walk registration page, then meet at the Jackson Park parking lot for 11am on Saturday.
