Call For Auditions for “Adventures in Toyland”, Saturday

Local youth theatrical dance company Windsor Dance eXperience is holding auditions for their holiday show, Adventures in Toyland, this Saturday September 8th.

Auditions will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church, 1949 Devonshire Court in Walkerville.

Organizers say ages six and up are welcome to audition, with no prior dance or theatre experience required. Youth ages 6-11 can audition from 9am to 11am and ages 12 and up audition from 11am ’till 2pm. Those auditioning should arrive in comfortable dance wear with appropriate shoes or bare feet – no socks. There will be a group warm-up, across the floor exercises, drama activities, and jazz/ lyrical combinations.

WDX’s holiday performance Adventures in Toyland will take audience members on a journey to the magical land where favorite storybook characters live.

Fun for the kids and nostalgic for parents and grandparents, this WDX holiday performance will be a great theatre experience for the whole family. Adventures in Toyland will be performed at the Capitol Theatre December 21st and 22nd.
