On Tuesday, June 5, a team of eager Caesars Windsor employees and management pitched in to serve and provide a special luncheon to those in need at the Downtown Mission. Funds raised by Caesars Windsor employees as well as donations from Morton’s Wholesale Ltd. and Nestle helped to purchase homemade cupcakes, granola bars, sausages, macaroni and cheese and more.
Garry MacInnes, a Caesars Windsor Slot Operations Shift Manager, was one of the organizers and participants in the luncheon. He said, “We try to raise funds and coordinate volunteers to do two or three luncheons a year. We always try to do something special above the norm with the next one in December featuring a Mexican themed menu. It’s fun and rewarding for all involved.”
