Pile driving has begun along the 401 at North Talbot Road to construct a new bridge for the once-busy Southwood Lakes thoroughfare.

Noisy pile driving operations will take place over the next several months but will be limited to daytime hours.

The North Talbot bridge is expected to be complete before 2013.
