In the first period of play at tonight’s Windsor Spitfires home game, Windsor was on the board first with a goal by Brady Vail. Plymouth’s Alex Aleardi tied it up, but Windsor’s Kerby Rychel scored to give the Spits a 2-1 lead. Plymouth took the lead with a pair of goals by Dario Trutmann and Austin Levi. At the end of the first period the score stood at 3-2 Plymouth.
Windsor came back in the second period to tie the game up with Brady Vail scoring his second goal of the evening.
The third period went scoreless sending the Spits to play their third overtime home game in a row.
At three minutes into overtime, Windsor’s Craig Duininck scored the game-winning goal.
