New VIA Rail Station Construction Continues

Construction of Windsor’s new VIA station in Walkerville is well underway since we last checked on it in July.  The structural steel frame is now in place, and cement blocks have started to form the walls.  The target completion of the new $6.3 million station is late this fall.

If you think the new station looks familiar, this is because the design is similar to the arcing ceilings of the bus depot in Downtown Windsor that was completed a few years ago.
