Four Lakeshore Homes Vandalized With Tar and Paint

On Sunday July 24th, 2011 around 6:30 am Lakeshore OPP responded to a mischief in the 400 block of West Puce Rd.

Police were advised that sometime between 12:00 am and 6:00 am there four homes that sustained property damage by unknown suspect(s).

Police found white paint was found on the driveway of one house for approximately 200 feet.  The other three houses had a black tar like substance found on the exterior and windows of the residence.  Tar can not be removed, and the damage to these three homes could be expensive to clean up.  Roofs, siding and windows will have to be replaced.

The OPP Forensic Identification Unit attended the scene and evidence found at the scene.  The Essex County OPP Crime Unit was notified and the investigation is on going
