As you may recall, back in the fall of 2010, the Windsor Essex Humane Sociery won a Pepsi Refresh grant of $100,000 to build a new Spay/Neuter Clinic. Constriction is now well underway on the new clinic on the Humane Society’s Provincial Road property.
Once construction is complete, they will be able to spay or neuter more than 5,000 animals every single year, which will dramatically reduce the number of unwanted animals (especially cats) in our community.
The clinic should be open by this summer.
